Straight Timber Staircases
Timber Staircase Specialists are a family-run business who have been building staircases for over 30 years. During that time, we’ve crafted staircase solutions for thousands of homes, all made to order. We recommend visiting our Bundaberg showroom where possible to view our full range of staircase varieties.
All our timber staircases are made to order and can be freighted anywhere in Australia; they will arrive flat-packed and can be assembled by either your builder or yourself. We have a variety of different timber options available including knotty pine for staircases that will be carpeted or covered as well as clear pine, Philippine Mahogany and Kwila or Merbau (a teak-coloured hardwood). All our staircases come with a 7-year structural warranty and comply with Australian design and safety standards.
Why Choose a Straight Timber Staircase?
Our straight stairs are the stairs customers are familiar with the most: A single flight of stairs commonly found in domestic houses where the space allows for them. If space isn’t a problem, straight stairs are a great option for anyone who wants stairs that are both cheap and easy to assemble. Straight stairs are also a fantastic option for older residents, where stair-lift installation is necessary.
Due to their simple design, we can manufacture our straight stairs in a CNC machine, ensuring minimal cost, faster turnover times, and consistent build quality. Builders who are looking for a simple, cost-effective staircase that is sure to keep the customer happy, will love the straight style staircase. If you think this staircase is right for you, give us a call or shoot us an email! We’ll have a flat-pack box made to your options and measurements within 1-2 weeks(*pending on timber availability)!
How to Order:
When placing your order, we will require some information including several measurements:
- Height of the ceiling
- Height difference between floors
- Environment surrounding the stairs (hallways, doors, windows)
- Any additional features that you require such as balustrading
- Which way is up
If you have detailed house plans then we can work from those as a substitute for the measurements.
